This was just a small project to try out Decker. I wouldn’t use it during an actual game of Magic, there are much better options out there.

I think I, personally, would use HTML/JavaScript for any future projects like this, but Decker is fun (HTML/JS can be fun too!). It’s nice to have a UI for playing with the layout of a GUI and for doing common actions. The way that state is stored is nice for exploration, incrementally trying new things, building up a deck of cards.
